Privacy and Data Concerns: Conversations with AI often involve deeply personal information. Users may not always be aware of how this data is stored, used, or protected.

Commercialization of Intimacy: Some platforms monetize emotional closeness by charging for more intimate or personalized interactions. This can blur the line between emotional support and a commercial product designed to encourage continued engagement.


AI, Loneliness, and the Future of Connection
